Google Wallet allows you to send money from your bank account to any email address for free. If you send money that you want to charge to your credit card, there is a 2.9 percent fee.
Google Wallet has an additional benefit of allowing you to make purchases online and in stores. Those stores must accept Google Wallet as a payment, however, and not all businesses do. But unlike some of the other online payment systems, Google Wallet can be used to transfer money and to make purchases.
